Prince William and his longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, both 28, are engaged. He popped the question while they were vacationing in Kenya last month and the wedding is expected to take place in London next spring or summer. It will be the biggest royal event in Britain since William’s parents’ — Charles and Diana — wedding 30 years ago. The couple, who met in 2001 at St. Andrews University, plan to live in North Wales once they’re married. The official royal statement read in part: “The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton… Prince William has informed The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton’s father. ‘Following the marriage… Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.” ~Alexandra Heilbron

Princess Diana is getting her own HBO documentary with some assistance from her sons. Her life will be celebrated with a new movie to mark the 20th anniversary of her passing.
Exciting news!

the paparazzi wont leave her alone either they will probably persue her untill they kill her too.
I don’t think this will be a huge as Di and Charles wedding 30yrs ago, but it will be spectacle. These are the days of tabloids like the world has never seen before. I hope they can both handle it. Because right now everyone wanted to report the story of them being engaged and VERY shortly it will change to he’s cheating or she is cheating or constant fights and the usual tabloid fodder.
Most plpoee I know are happy with the day off and are planning to be away from all the madness. But there’s a whole site dedicated to planning a street party, and getting into the so-called swing of things!
