‘Saved by the Bell’ star Dustin Diamond arrested for stabbing

Saved by the Bell actor Dustin Diamond, 37, was arrested after reportedly stabbing a man with a switchblade at a bar in Port Washington on Christmas evening. TMZ reported that Dustin got into an argument with another man at the bar because of pictures being taken of him and his girlfriend. The argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation during which the other man suffered a half-inch puncture wound under his right armpit.
Police quickly caught up with Dustin after he left the bar and found the knife in his SUV. He was charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. Dustin claimed he was acting in self defense. He spent the weekend in jail and was released on Monday after posting $10,000 bail. ~Janine Wyslobicky
