Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles takes out competition at box office

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles smashed away the competition with a high Tribute viewer rating of 4.5 stars and scored top spot at the box office with $65 million. In second place was Guardians of the Galaxy, which earned $41 million this weekend and was given a rating of 4.4 stars by Tribute viewers. Swirling into the third spot was Into the Storm, which brought in $18 million. Tribute viewers gave this film a  thumbs-up with a strong 3.5 stars.

The Helen Mirren driven movie The Hundred-Foot Journey made $11 million this weekend and Tribute viewers gave it 4.3 stars. Rounding out the top five
films was Scarlett Johansson‘s Lucy, which received a rating of 3.1 stars by Tribute viewers and kicked out $9.3 million this weekend. ~Andrea Hodgins
