Netflix
For the binge-watching person who can clock in hours on end watching Netflix, I’d say a Netflix gift card is the way to go. From hit revival shows like Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life to the highly-buzzed The Crown, there’s something for everyone. You can buy a three or six month gift card. These cards are available now at a number of retail stores including Walmart, Target, Sobeys, 7-Eleven, Safeway, Metro and Loblaws.

Of course, we can’t leave the movie lovers out. If the person you’re gifting loves everything about Christmas and the holidays, then classics are the way to go. For a little bit of nostalgia at Christmas, pick up The Andy Griffith Show Christmas Special on DVD. It has two episodes — Christmas Story and The Pickle Story — two funny, heartwarming stories. This show starred a young Ronnie Howard (now acclaimed director Ron Howard, who’s also the father of actress Bryce Dallas Howard) alongside Andy Griffith and Don Knotts. $14.99 CDN
