CBS execs have decided not to submit Two and a Half Men for a Best Comedy Series Emmy Award, even though the show qualified for submission. An insider revealed that the feeling at CBS was that it wasn’t appropriate given the recent circumstances surrounding the show, specificially the firing of Charlie Sheen and his having been replaced by Ashton Kutcher. Two and a Half Men has been nominated three times for Best Comedy Series, but has never won. However, the studio has submitted the show’s co-stars — Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell — in supporting category nominations.

Like its been somewhat alluded to before, the CBS execs are reigning down fire on Charlie Sheen, and dont want him to have any sort of recognition or praise. They might not be constantly c*ck blocking him, but they sure as hell wont be doing anything of the sorts to help further his career.
And food for CBS, the other actors are talented and deserve recognition even if Sheen is being himself. Rise above it 2.5 men!
