X-Men: Days of Future Past take down Godzilla at box office

Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past stormed the box office, passing last week’s top movie, Godzilla, taking over the top spot at the box office with an estimated $90.7 million in the domestic market. The film, which received a 4 star rating from Tribute.ca fans, grossed $261.8 million at the worldwide box office. Godzilla, which dropped to second place, took in $31.4 million in its second weekend. Tribute.ca fans gave it 3.75 stars. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore’s new comedy Blended debuted in third place with $14.25 million and proved to be popular with Tribute.ca fans, who gave it a 4.25 star rating. Seth Rogen and Zac Efron‘s comedy Neighbors dropped to fourth place with $13.9 million. Tribute.ca fans have given it a rating of 2.3 stars. Rounding out the top five at the box office was The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which earned $7.8 million in its fourth weekend, bringing the sequel to $184.9 million at the domestic box office. Disney’s Million Dollar Arm starring Jon Hamm, which has 4 stars, made $7 million in its second weekend, kicking it out of the top 5 box office earnings.

Also in the top ten this weekend are The Other WomanRio 2, Chef and Heaven is for Real. ~Dylan Paisley
