That was a perfect depiction of one of the best stories ever. I CANT wait for them to make the famous second story "Angels and Demons"

This movie is exactly what the Holy Bible predicts,(the world hating Jesus and wicked lies against him!) it is sad that so many ppl would rather put their faith in Hollywood and the things seen, then in the Holy Scripture and faith unseen. Even man`s wisdom is foolish to God. If you want something to fill you with try inviting God spirit and Jesus into your life, then you will start to really live!!

i liked it! despite the bad reviews i thought it was a great effort from ron howard. come on, we have to give him credit for packing all that info into the movie. the only thing is that i feel if you didnt read the book (which i did), it would be hard to understand. but i loved hanks, tatou was pretty good, and mckellen was awesome! good movie.

At least it wasn`t as bad as the Passion of the Christ. Even though it gave people the same reason to spend there money on it. 2 different extremes, 2 different movies, 2 $10 bills I wish I had back.

The book was so much better. The movie seemed to just go on and on.. it felt like one of the longest movie I`ve ever seen.

Disappointed with Tom Hanks, he is not the right fit for Langdon. Overall an good entertaining movie based on an excellent fictional novel.

I never read the book. The movie is just one of those treasure hunting stories. "National Treasure" is even better than this one.

The acting wasn`t that inspiring, and did not feel as fast pace as the book. Misses many details, but that`s film.

I had not read the book and was able to follow the film no problem ! I thought the movie was great (but a little long) ... If your looking for alot of action this is not a movie for you - BUT if you want to see a movie with a great story that will make you think - this is a wonderful pick!

Very good. Since this movie has a religious component, I understand why some individuals will HATE this movie. If you see a 1-star review for this movie, I can bet the individual who gave this rating does not agree with the theology presented in this movie.

good movie! thumbs up. It follows the book almost exactly. So im not sure what the critics were giving a bad review. They said it was slow, dark, too much technical talk about the bible etc...But thats exactly what the book is like! Most of it happens at night, there is alot of explanation but if they dont have that u wont know what the heck the story is about so its necessary..and its very interesting...and i didnt find it particularly slow. It was long at about 2hrs and 15mins...but overall.... I thought the movie was very true to the book and i found it just as interesting.I mean the book is always going to be better than the made to movie

Really liked the movie!! Dan Brown is such a great writter, If you liked this story, try reading Angles and Devils. He does such in-depth historical research in his stories he really is able to "tie in the reader." All of his stuff really makes you think, somepeople say "not believeable" but I say, you never know.

After watching this movie, I just could not believe the discussion that was taking place between everyone in our group of 8! It went on through most of the night. I have never seen a movie that could have this effect on people. Dan Brown and now Ron Howard have really hit onto something and I doubt this discussion will end anytime soon. The movie was very well done and I`m sure will be a classic one day . . .

loved the book - movie followed it pretty good, Tom Hanks while a good actor would not have been my first choice for the role. I hope they follow with Angels and Demons - Barbara

This was a very well made movie. Alot of people were telling me that it was to hyped up on tv and that they expected more. Come on people, what were you expecting explosions and special effects. The movie was made to tell a story and it did just that. Very well done. Also, let`s not forget this is only a movie, don`t always beleve what you see!!!!!

Excellent Movie, i think alot of ppl have been giving it such bad reviews and saying negative stuff about it because they are scared that this might be true, and don`t want to face the facts. this movie makes ppl think. and you no wat it could even be true and if it is deal with it. I would go watch it again and so would many others.

The movie was garbage. For who ever may read this... Why do people take fictional books as actual facts?, FOR GOD`S SAKE PEOPLE, IT`S A FICTIONAL BOOK. Plus might I add, a lot of the dates that are given from a historical point, are quite innacurate. This movie deserves NO STARS!!!

Let me start by saying the book was amazing! I couldn`t wait to see this movie. HUGE DISAPOINTMENT!!! Way too much talking and dragged on. I wanted to fall asleep. My friend who saw the movie with me did`nt understand anything!(he didn`t read the book) I say, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO SEE IT, WAIT UNTIL IT`S OUT ON DVD! AND IF YOU DIDN`T READ THE BOOK, READ IT BEFORE YOU SEE THIS MOVIE!

I think because they shrunk the novel a lot to fit the time alloted for the movie, it truly took away a lot from the experience. People who haven`t read the novel would find it hard to follow the story and will not be able to appreciate the nature/purpose of several characters. Otherwise, the storie is awsome. It presents another possibility which is totally dependent on what the viewer believes is true.

Great film. Very close to the book. Gets a lot of the facts wrong, but still an enjoyable adventure. Tom Hanks is not who I pictured as Robert Langdon, but he carries it off well. Hopefully they`ll make "Angels and Demons" next.

The movie I consider good even though I think Tom Hanks is the wrong person for his role. It is very ironic that Christians are getting so worked up about the film when the story of Jesus itself is a fictional account. Objective education cures ignorance!

A movie can never capture the essence of a book. Don`t be lazy and read the book first. Then, maybe, you could watch the movie just to confirm the fact that a book as good as this one, is hard to make into a movie.

i thought this was a terrific movie. but the best part was arrvining at the theatre to see the protesters "boycott da vinci code" i thought that was hilarious but anyway that was off topic. THIS WAS A GRETA MOVIE WITH SUSPENSE TWIST AND TUNRS AND HOW YOU ARE LIKE OMG WHAT THE HECK I SSOOOOO DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. overall it is good but i did not like all the bloody french even though that was the point but stilll. i did not like it made me confused. WATCH IT THOUGH!
