Cineplex Cinemas Metropolis

Located in the eastern Vancouver suburb of Burnaby, the Metropolis is equipped with 10 large auditoriums. It is attached to the Metropolis at Metrotown, the largest mall in British Columbia, and customers who arrive through the SkyTrain rapid transit from the heart of the city can get to the theatre in good time. On top of showing first-run features, Silvercity Metropolis also has room for private screenings of operas, WWE wrestling and classic films. Of course, the fundamental SilverCity goodies—stadium seating, surround sound, yummy fast-food options—are all present. The theatre, which opened in 1998, recently became equipped with an UltraAVX auditorium.
