Amanda Seyfried’s crippling anxiety

Amanda Seyfried suffers from crippling anxiety. The Lovelace actress has spent years battling panic attacks and anxiety, but has learned to conquer her fears by focusing on the positive aspects of her life and taking time out of her hectic schedule to relax. She explained: "I like challenges. I've suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for many years and you learn to fight your fears by facing up to them. I still fight against anxiety. It takes time, even to get to the point where although you might have a possible self-image, you still worry about silly little things. I know how to deal with it and over time it's not going to be an issue for me. I just try to relax and have fun and not let myself get wrapped up in unimportant things." Amanda, 27, tries to tap into her creative side to help rid herself of nerves and painting is her absolute favorite way to unwind. Amanda told LOOK magazine: "Recently I started painting again. I have this amazing craft room in Los Angeles that overlooks the city, with a window onto a big backyard. It's heaven on earth. My dog sits under my desk and I will paint literally for hours. It's amazing. It's the best feeling in the world."

   Sounds like Amanda has found some amazing ways to deal with the issue without having to turn to drugs/alchol as a way of coping. Kudos!!

   Alcohol and drugs will make your’re anxiety worst so i don’t know where that comment came from.

   Yes, Alcohol and drugs would certainly make it alot worse. My comment really was meant to say Kudos to her way of dealing with stress and anxiety. (Should have read without turning to drugs/alchol as so many people do in crisis. My wording was off:apologies.
