Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany joins Parks and Recreation

Tatiana Maslany, 27, will have a two-episode arc on the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Orphan Black star will play a love interest to Aziz Ansari‘s Tom Haverford for the fifth and sixth episodes of season six. A comedic role will only continue to prove Tatiana’s wide acting range, if juggling with six characters on her BBC America sci-fi drama wasn’t enough. With an extensive background in French-Canadian improv, the Regina native is certainly prepared to work alongside the show’s renowned cast of talented comedic actors such as Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza and Rashida Jones. The sixth season of Parks and Recreation is set to premiere on September 26. ~Alfonso Espina
