Chris Brown arrested for felony assault

Singer Chris Brown was arrested early Sunday morning in Washington D.C. on felony assault after allegedly getting into a “physical altercation” with a man. The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. outside the W Hotel and Chris’ bodyguard Chris Hollosy was also involved. The victim alleges that Brown punched him in the face after getting into an argument and eventually the fight was taken to the ground. After police were called the victim was taken to the hospital and later released. Both Brown and his bodyguard are expected to remain in jail on charges of felony assault until their court date, which is set for later today. Brown is still on probation for his infamous assault on singer Rihanna in 2009. Sunday’s assault could be grounds for violation of his probation, which could mean he could be in prison for up to four years. ~Brie Davis
