Chris Martin buys house opposite Gwyneth Paltrow

Chris Martin has reportedly bought a house opposite Gwyneth Paltrow’s mansion in California. The Coldplay frontman, 37, allegedly splashed out $6.75 million on the property in Brentwood, Los Angeles, so he can stay close to their children, Apple, 10, and Moses, eight. It’s believed Gwyneth’s mother Blythe Danner helped him move into his new home, which is complete with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, according to Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, despite announcing their separation in March, the pair, who were married in 2003, have remained good friends and Chris even threw Gwyneth a party two weeks ago to celebrate her 42nd birthday. Chris arranged for the actress’ friends – including Kate Hudson, Nicole Richie, Tobey Maguire and Gavin Rossdale – to join in the boozy birthday bash, which was held in Gwyneth’s backyard. A source said: ”Everyone was seated facing each other so they could talk and tell stories. They were all laughing together… Gwyneth was surrounded by girlfriends and couldn’t stop giggling.”
