Claire Danes Nip SlipIt looks like American actress Claire Danes, 30, may have forgotten an important item of clothing at Wednesday night’s London premiere of her new movie, Me and Orson Welles, in which she co-stars with Zac Efron. Something like… a bra?

But, Britney gets away with it…

    LMAO!

  2. Stephen • November 20, 2009 @ 10:12 AM

It garnered her attention and that’s what Hollywood seems to be all about these days… any press is good press as long as your name gets out there.

  3. Nancy • November 20, 2009 @ 10:17 AM

All she would need are those nipple cover things anyways. Why would she need a whole bra when she has nothing to put in it? Hahahaha.

  4. Anne • November 20, 2009 @ 10:22 AM

It can happen very easily, something looks great on at home, someone snaps a picture and that damn flash goes right through the fabric and shows off the unmentionables!

I’m sure something similar has happened to many an unsuspecting woman at special occasions, they just have the luxury of not everyone in the world knowing about it!

Honestly, who cares! Everyone acts as though they have never seen nipples or breasts before! Grow Up people…go look in the mirror…and leave these celebs alone! They are human like everyone else. Not to mention that a few years ago, that is all you ever saw on the runways and on music videos…get over yourselves!

Ms. Danes is very good at her craft and she looks marvellous in the picture…braless and all…maybe some of you people should ask your Moms about how they were burning bras and going braless in the 60s…

  5. Moviefan • November 20, 2009 @ 10:30 AM

Anne, I think you’re right, it looked fine at home but when the flashes started going off – it became see through. That’s what makes it so funny!

  6. Lenny • November 20, 2009 @ 12:22 PM

    God Bless her!

  7. chevy 11 • November 20, 2009 @ 2:06 PM

Good for you Claire She is one of the nmost beautiful actresses/women out there right now….

  8. Terry • November 20, 2009 @ 2:11 PM

I like her outfit and I think she looks very nice the way she is dressed. She is a beautiful confident woman.

  9. Bree • November 20, 2009 @ 3:49 PM

She looks great. It is the flash of the camera that makes the dress look transparent.

  10. Bob • November 20, 2009 @ 4:09 PM

Give it a rest!! Go to any Mall and look around to see how many women have them pulled out feeding their rugrat. All we see here is some nips poking through a sheer dress. Hooray, for BOOBIES!

  11. mandee • November 20, 2009 @ 4:18 PM

something about her eyes is creeping me right out. i really like claire danes. i think she is a wonderful actress. i would personally never do anything without a bra, it makes me feel naked lol. i dont understand women who can go without one. it is her choice though, perhaps next time she should experiment and have a friend take a pic of her with the flash on to see just how much you can see through her shirt lol. i think the reason no one let it go with britney is because of all the mistakes shes made IN THE PAST. when people can let go of what these people do in their lives and look at each situation as an individual situation, perhaps people will be more tolerant of simple things like not wearing a bra.

  12. Nancy • November 20, 2009 @ 4:58 PM

What I was talking about with Britney, mandee, is the photo of her about a week ago posted on here…wearing no bra!

Personally, I always wear one and I don’t want to see others hanging out. I think it’s just rude and pretty disgusting unless, as Bob mentioned, breastfeeding a baby is taking place but, even THAT is not necessary in public as they did invent breast pumps. Pump a bottle before you go out in public or throw a blanket over top.

  13. tributegirl • November 20, 2009 @ 5:18 PM

I agree, breastfeeding is a wonderful thing, but it does make a lot of people very uncomfortable, so I also think they should either pump it, or put a little receiving blanket over it or something. Respect should be a two way street.

  14. mandee • November 20, 2009 @ 5:27 PM

i agree nancy and tg. also, i wasnt trying to say i thought you couldnt let go of the past haha. i was just saying thats why people have more of a problem with brit doing it, because she has a past. no one cares that much that claire did it because she doesnt have anything scandalous in her past.

  15. Nancy • November 20, 2009 @ 6:01 PM

And HOPEFULLY Claire won’t get caught with no panties, LOL.

  16. karen • November 20, 2009 @ 9:11 PM

Wow, I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that none of you have actually breastfed. Breast pumps are a necessary evil, but they are a torture device at best. I would never use one if I was going out with my baby. People need to grow up and get over it. Nobody is making you look at a woman breastfeeding. Perhaps you should use some of that energy to examine why it makes you so uncomfortable…

  17. gypsy • November 21, 2009 @ 12:45 AM

Well personally I would like to say,BURN THEM BRAS,SET THE GIRLS FREE!!Never wore one never will, they may hang down to my knee’s LMFAO. BUT THATS MY CHOICE FOR ME.HAHAHAHA

  18. jane • November 21, 2009 @ 2:39 AM

    Wow Nancy: prude much?
We all have nipples: women, men, even when we are just newborn babies…
There is quite a difference between exposing your pantiless crotch and having nipples. As a woman (and I’m going on a limb here, but I’ll assume you are one!) haven’t you noticed that sometimes your nipples show even while wearing a bra? Like if you are getting chilly unexpectedly?
But you know what: I vote we all have them surgically removed at birth, so it never offends people like you!

  19. mandee • November 21, 2009 @ 9:32 AM

gypsy, tributegirl how are your families doing? are they healthy yet? and how are the 2 of you? you didnt get it did you? hope everyone is well. take care!

  20. Linda C • November 21, 2009 @ 9:52 AM

    She’s got nothing to hide.

  21. man • November 21, 2009 @ 10:26 AM

women should just walk around topless its only a matter of time. it just seems that women try soo hard to be free (short skirts, pants crawling up their ass, public breastfeeding, braless) that they forget to respect themselves. They are turning themselves into a piece of scenery for all men to enjoy. Dont women realize that all their fighting to be “free” just leads to men getting horny staring at legs, boobs and asses. C mon girls stop selling ur selves to the men who are encouraging u to fight for ur ‘freedom’!

  22. gypsy • November 21, 2009 @ 12:35 PM

Jane,no need to get sarcastic to Nancy about the way SHE feels. We all have different opinion’s,that’s what freedom of speech is all about!!!If you have read all the comment’s above, you would see that I have a different opinion.I’m all for letting the girl’s hang out,no bras no shirt’s total freedom!!I’ll stand on top of the tree, and understand that there will be plenty of people who will disagree with me.I don’t think there’s anything sexual about exposing one’s breast’s,no matter what size or age a female is.It has nothing to do with how I’ve been brought up,as BOTH my parent’s would flip-out on me when I WAS CAUGHT NOT WEARING ONE!!I would put the binder on before leaving the house, and 30 seconds later it would be at the bottom of my purse.Even at the age of 7yrs before I carried a purse,I would stash the horrendous thing in the garage,go to school then put it back on before going in.Now even those who disagree with Nancy, would also disagree with me,but that was/is my personal opinion. So logically speaking,it is a girl’s/woman’s right to choose what their preference is on this issue.OH, buy the way I do agree with the covering of the private part’s,on both male and female.I believe that is a totally different issue, from that which we are speaking of! I totally respect NANCY’S opinion, even though it vastly differs from mine, thats what freedom of speech is all about!!!!!

  23. tributegirl • November 21, 2009 @ 1:58 PM

You had to wear a bra when you were 7??? That would so SUCK!!! I agree that if a person wants to let them hang out, or breastfeed in public, or whatever, then they should, but I also think they should acknowledge and respect the discomfort of others.

  24. ottery • November 21, 2009 @ 2:15 PM

tributegirl – Why on earth would anyone feel uncomfortable seeing a women nurse a baby. Some babies do not like having a blanket over them. Breastfeeding is natural!

  25. gypsy • November 21, 2009 @ 3:27 PM

Mandee. How the hell are ya? I hope you and your family are doing better! As for my daughter she’s still got a sore throat and hacking up a storm,is tired most of the time and definatly nasty.I took her back to the clinic and she was told it’ll last up to 6 week’s,she was pissed. To make matter’s worse, since they couldn’t get the lab report’s,they took her temp.it was normal so they gave her the H1N1 shot just to make sure! She came outta there yelling that she was MORALLY RAPED,you should of seen the looks on the other peoples faces,Priceless hahaha I couldn’t help myself I CRACKED UP LAUGHING she was livid especially at me!Now that was two day’s ago and she had a sore arm,for the first day which is natural, blames me for her getting the shot.I wasn’t even in the room with her,and still hacking away,so I just got her some soup, juice and cough candies, and phone her a couple of times a day,to make sure she’s all right!I went to my family Dr on Tuesday,in Kitchener she told me I DEFINATLY had it in October and the clinic shouldn’t have given me the shot in Nov.According to her I was just getting over it when they put it back into me,so now I’ve got a sore throat and I’m hacking again.Just can’t trust any Doctor, they all think differently,oh well at least I know I’m protected.hahaha.I was pissed at my Dr cuz she wouldn’t give me my regular flu shot, say’s I’ve gotta wait untill I go up there in Dec to get that one!!I’ve been watching a whole hell of alot of movies lately lol. What have you been up to? I read about your niece and left a message on the Seacrest site, but I guess you never went back to it.How’s she doing now? OH, I also read about your teeth hurting did you get them fixed yet?About you spending your b-day alone GIRL nobody should be alone on that special day,I hope you got a cake with candle’s on it,so you could make a wish?Well Mandee I’m gonna go, make my bed and get movie’s ready for this afternoon so you Take Care OK!!!!!

  26. demigod • November 21, 2009 @ 6:05 PM

Prudes need to get over it. Been to Europe? Topless beaches everywhere!

  27. Nancy • November 21, 2009 @ 6:11 PM

Jane: My comment about Claire hopefully not getting caught wearing no panties was a joke…hence the “LOL”…jeeze, “prude much?” Mandee and I were talking about Britney Spears. Do you happen to remember a few years ago, when Britney was photographed not wearing any? Oh, and btw….no! I’m a freaking guy! I just like to go around and call myself Nancy!

Gypsy: Thanks. I respect your opinion too. At least you didn’t start name calling like some.

Karen: I just don’t think that it is right for a woman to have her breasts hanging out in public, for ANY reason…even to breastfeed. Especially when there are other alternatives, such as the breast pump or a small blanket. It’s okay for you to think otherwise but, you shouldn’t tell us to “grow up and get over it”. We just don’t share the same opinion that you do…and alot of people feel the same just as alot of people would agree with you. Maybe we should tell you that you should “grow up and cover up”…but we didn’t, did we?

  28. Nancy • November 21, 2009 @ 6:13 PM

Demigod: I’ve never been to Europe and don’t plan to. Just because our opinion differs from yours, does not mean we are “prudes”.

  29. mandee • November 21, 2009 @ 10:01 PM

i agree with your comment gypsy. man, the things people will cause a fight over huh nancy? its ridiculous! seriously, i dont want to see someone breast feeding their baby. yes breast milk may be the healthiest choice for a baby, but i think its a disgusting thing to do (sorry ladies) and i think if you want to use your milk you should be using a breast pump and a bottle. breast feeding seems a bit pervish to me.

Well Earl 101 it looks like we wont need to start a fundraiser for this one 😉

  31. gypsy • November 22, 2009 @ 10:07 AM

TG..unfortunately yes, I was sent home from school and they called my mom and told her I couldn’t come back to school until I had a bra on.I was in grade 4 my ma was so mad, there was a meeting set up and I ended up having to get a bra (36B).I wore it for 2day’s and took it off and stashed it in the garage. When I got home I’d put it on and go in the house, then take it off right away.I hated them,I took a sweater to school everyday so they wouldn’t see that I didn’t have one on.When I hit grade 8 I refused to wear one no matter what.I was kicked outta school (for a week) every couple of month’s,but I didn’t care.In the end no matter what my parent’s said or the school I refused to put one on.When I hit high school at the age of 12, they all gave up and I never had to pretend to put it on again.Like I said I don’t think of boob’s as being sexual in any way.I was a very early developer,in the body’s natural way if you get what I mean,7yrs for that also!!!!!You know what’s really screwed up,when I wore a bikini back then I had to have an adult with me,when my friend’s and I wanted to go swimming. No trust at all,it was the Pitt’s!!!!For real! When I was in grade 8 and all through high school there wasn’t many girl’s who wore bra’s at all.Different generation I guess!!!!!!!!!

  32. gypsy • November 22, 2009 @ 10:47 AM

Mandee I left a comment for you on Nov 21st at 3.27pm its waiting for moderation,I didn’t want you to think that I was ignorant and ignored your comment to me about our health!!!!I guess it’s so long, they are taking more time than usual to release it.lol!!!!!!!!

  33. tributegirl • November 22, 2009 @ 1:04 PM

ottery, I don’t care if a woman breastfeeds, but some people are extremely uncomfortable with it. I know it’s natural, everyone knows it’s natural, but human emotions are natural as well, and as I just said, some people are extremely uncomfortable with it. They can’t help how they feel either. My sons are very uncomfortable with it when they see someone breastfeeding in public, I talk to them about it, but they are still uncomfortable.
Most women find it totally appropriate, and don’t see what the big fuss is, but the fact is, most men see the breast as a sex organ, and may not be comfortable (or may enjoy it too much!) seeing it in public.

  34. tributegirl • November 22, 2009 @ 1:12 PM

Sorry mandee, I forgot about your comment! We are all fine now, just a little cough left over. My daughter got off really lucky, she missed a couple days of school, but really did well with it, wasn’t nearly as miserable as the rest of us. My oldest son got it worse than anybody, as usual.
How about you and your family? Is Misty feeling better? I know you said she was pretty scared, how is she handling it now? I hope everyone is feeling better.
gypsy, I hope your daughter gets better soon! Sounds like she’s having a really rough time! And maybe a bad temper tantrum! LOL

  35. sheila H. • November 22, 2009 @ 3:03 PM

excuse me, do men wear jockstraps all the time? Bras can be uncomfortable, why wear them? If u don’t like the look of nipples, don’t look! Sometimes nipples against a comfortable fabric can feel nice. Sometimes we put a particular pair of socks on cause they feel nice, why now a shirt? Claire Danes is absolutely beautiful and natural.

  36. mandee • November 22, 2009 @ 3:51 PM

gypsy, sorry shes still sick. i completely understand though because i am coughing and coughing still! which causes a sore throat :@ my teeth didnt get fixed, cant find anyone willing to help me pay for it. also, im used to doing nothing for my birthday, my so called friends (when i had any) were always a bunch of jerks and sold me out for my birthday (even when i dropped everything and spent theirs with them!) my family doesnt buy me a cake, the only one that does anything for me is my parents and all they do is give me 100 dollars. i spent it all on movies lol. misty seems to be feeling a lot better, still coughing too! im not sure if shes still freaking out because she usually just stays upstairs! its ok that you missed my comment tg lol. i figured you 2 either missed it in the debate or didnt feel like answering 😛 i think drs are ridiculous gypsy, thats why when im sick i dont go unless im REALLY REALLY sick or unless its lasted longer than a week and a half. i figure if im sick ill either get better or die lmao. im glad everyones family is doing better! it sucks when everyones sick 🙁 i actually think i have pink eye now. i woke up and couldnt open my eye so when i used the cloth to clean it the cloth had a big yellow spot on it and my eye is all dark red inside and a little red around it outside and its kinda blurry when my eye is open. anyways i had a hell of a time trying to sleep last night so i have a huge headache gonna check the other articles then grocery shop. ttyl ! take care 😀

  37. tributegirl • November 23, 2009 @ 5:42 PM

Mandee, I was great up until last night, at one point (we had a huge family supper, 30 people!) all of a sudden I had a slight pain in my throat & ears, then through the night I felt sick to my stomach. Felt fine when I woke up, was just arriving at work & felt sick again. Got through the day, but now it feels like a really bad head cold. Everyone else is fine though.
Btw, I’ve noticed that someone (you know who I mean) isn’t on here lately, and am wondering if she’s been sick too. Have you heard from her lately mandee? If you don’t want to answer that, that’s fine, I’m just curious as to how everybody is doing.

  38. mandee • November 23, 2009 @ 7:09 PM

pft ahahaha do you really think shed email me after the last conversations we had on here? remember, shes decided that ive crossed the line between heaven and hell and am now in debt to the devil (nancy!) i dont expect her to ever email me or speak to me again actually. not like im heart broken, it is a computer after all!

  39. mandee • November 23, 2009 @ 7:11 PM

  40. tributegirl • November 23, 2009 @ 8:37 PM

Oh, ok, no prob, I was just wondering, it’s not like her to not be on here. She and I don’t get along most of the time, but I still don’t wish that flu on anybody.

  41. Nancy • November 23, 2009 @ 9:09 PM

Well I do! Hahahahaha. It’s been REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALY nice without her! Btw, has anyone seen my pitchfork? 😀

  42. tributegirl • November 25, 2009 @ 1:58 PM
