Hannah Bagshawe and Eddie RedmayneEddie Redmayne has confirmed he and his wife Hannah Bagshawe are expecting their first child together.

The The Danish Girl star, 34, announced his happy news at the 73rd annual Golden Globes, where he narrowly missed out on Best Actor, live on the red carpet at the Hilton in Beverly Hills.

When asked by Ryan Seacrest whether the rumors about his impending arrival are correct, Eddie replied: “That is true.”

The handsome star, who married Hannah in 2014, was then presented with a handful of gifts; including adorable baby rompers with ”You Should See My Crib” and ”Milking My 15 Minutes” cheekily emblazoned across the front.

Eddie, taking the sweet little one pieces, replied with a scared smile: “I’m sweating now – she’s calm, I’m not.”

The loved-up duo – who were spotted house-hunting in London early last year – are reportedly set to welcome their new bundle of joy into the world in June.

Meanwhile, Eddie may have failed to scoop a gong at the Golden Globes but this year looks set to be a busy one for the hunk career wise, as he’s up for Best Actor at the BAFTA Awards for his portrayal of transgender Lili Elbe in The Danish Girl.
