It looks like the second time may be the charm for Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne, her boyfriend of 10 months. The Australian cricket star popped the question to the recently divorced model/actress Friday during a romantic dinner at a hotel in Scotland. Engagement speculation swirled on Saturday when Hurley was photographed wearing a huge sapphire and diamond ring at a pro-am golf tournament with Warne. The jewelled stunner, which is drawing comparisons to the engagement ring Prince William gave to Kate Middleton, is rumored to be worth $77,000. Reports of the upcoming nuptials were later confirmed when the couple took to twitter expressing gratitude to well-wishers, tweeting: “Thanks for all your congratulations…” Warne also tweeted, “I didn’t propose in front of 200 people at dinner. It was done privately and was very romantic…”, in response to earlier false reports that the big moment took place in front of a crowd. Last December, Hurley publicly announced her separation from her husband, Indian businessman Arun Nayar. Their divorce was finalized in June 2011. When interviewed by talk show host Wendy Williams last Thursday, Hurley was asked if she would ever get married again and responded, “Never say never. He [Shane] is a lovely man… He’s a great guy.” Hurley, 46, has one child from a previous relationship and Shane, 42, has three children from his first marriage. ~S. Jackson
