Halle Berry threatened by mental ward escapee

Halle Berry has had her fair share of troubles in the past few months, from being “terrorized” by a stalker at her L.A. home to the vicious custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry over their three-year-old daughter, Nahla. It seems her stress is far from over as the actress is now the victim of death threats made by a man who escaped from an L.A. mental hospital last week. Robert Hoskins, who was committed to the state hospital last year, previously served a 10-year sentence for stalking Madonna and then scaling the walls of her home, claiming he was her husband and threatening to slit her throat from ear to ear if she didn’t go with him. He was again arrested in July 2011 for vandalism and branded a “mentally disturbed offender” — one who’s reportedly after Berry now. “Friends are scared for her life because Robert Hoskins wants to kill ker,” a source told Radar Online. “The LAPD told Halle that Hoskins threatened: ‘I’m going to kill that b***h, I’m going to cut her throat.'”
Hoskins, whom police have described as “highly psychotic” and extremely violent when not on his meds, has left Berry terrified for her and Nahla’s safety — particularly with Aubry parading their daughter in front of paparazzi, according to friends of the actress. (Strangely, there seem to be more pictures in the media of Nahla with her than with Aubry.) To seek refuge, Berry has requested a judge’s permission to move to France with her new boyfriend Olivier Martinez. But it seems Aubry won’t let her off the hook that easily — he believes the move is just another attempt at trying to strip him of any contact with his daughter. The verdict is still out on whether Berry will be allowed to leave the country.

This year’s Toronto International Film Festival will go ahead in September with a new format. Fifty feature films will be screened both in-person and digitally.

Gabriel needs to let her go. This patient is clearly capable of doing what he says he will if he actually managed to get on to Madonan’s property all those years ago. Her security guards even had to shoot him down. Swallow your pride Gabriel…its for the sake of your daugther
She’s got a crap load of security and the power and money to buy whatever mroe she needs…she doesn’t need to flee the country. this is just an excuse to get away from her ex boyfriend. I say fight her Gabriel!
Perhaps she should give custody to her ex, until this situation of hers blows over.
