Happy New Year – from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel

By Tribute on December 30, 2011 | 3 Comments

(500) Days of Summer co-stars Zooey Deschanel and Jospeh Gordon-Levitt have reunited, this time for something a little more personal. Deschanel posted a home video on her website, HelloGiggles, of her and Gordon-Levitt performing a duet version of Nancy Wilson’s classic song, What are you Doing for New Year’s Eve – just in time to ring in 2012. In a message accompanying the video, the New Girl actress talked about how they became close friends after bonding over a shared appreciation for Harry Nilsson and Nina Simone. “When we did 500 Days of Summer 8 years later, we spent every lunch hour dancing to Marvin Gaye in the hair and make up trailer; we had loads of fun,” writes Deschanel. “I hope to do a thousand more movies with him because he’s simply the best.” Check out the adorable video below!

That was awesome, they have some really good chemistry going on. Zooey seems like such a darned cute and cool chick. Seriously though, who else was not expecting JGL to sound that good singing, I’m impressed. Thanks to whomever found/posted this.

    Happy New Years everyone!
