Harry Potter London premiere photo gallery

Fans began lining up at Trafalgar Square in London days prior to the premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 to see their favorite stars, and they were not disappointed. Emma Watson arrived looking like a princess in a floor-length tiered Oscar De La Renta ruffled gown. She was soon joined on the red carpet by her co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. The young men managed to keep their composure, but Emma couldn’t stop her tears as they paid tribute to the final film in the series. Author J.K. Rowling teared up as well. Daniel addressed the crowd, saying, “I don’t think the end of the story happens tonight because each and every person who will see this film will carry this story with them through the rest of their lives. A huge thank-you to all of you, first of all for giving me a job, and Jo for letting him give me a job. Every opportunity I get from now on all goes down to the fact I got very, very lucky when I was eleven.” However, Emma told him: “You didn’t ‘get lucky’ – you were and are the perfect Harry and will be forever.”
