Hugh Grant admits that he has no one to blame but himself for his single status. The actor says he’s had many opportunities to settle down. He told British interviewer Jonathan Ross on his talk show: “I should settle down. It’s all my fault, I’ve had some lovely girlfriends.” When asked about his upcoming 50th birthday, Grant admitted: “I don’t know how to cope with it.” The British actor, who was in a longtime relationship with Elizabeth Hurley that ended in 2000, said he’s afraid he’s turning into a “lonely, sad old man.” He told Tribute‘s Bonnie Laufer during an interview for his current film, Did You Hear About The Morgans?, that he can get so grumpy and tense on set that he carries a “panic bag” containing “herbal tranquilizers, real tranquilizers and lorazepam,” among other things. He also told her, “I looked in the mirror this morning and saw an angry, old pig.” ~Alexandra Heilbron
