Curse of Chucky now on Blu-ray and DVD

Director Don Mancini brings back the possessed doll in Curse of Chucky, the sixth in the Child’s Play series. Releasing straight to video, the film goes back to its roots, focusing solely on the terrifying Chucky. The plot is simple: Chucky hunts and slaughters a family in a mansion. Nica (Fiona Dourif) is a wheelchair-bound girl who lives with her mother. A mystery package comes for the family and it’s a Good Guy doll. After her mother dies under mysterious circumstances, Nica’s older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti), brother-in-law Ian (Brennan Elliott) and niece (Summer H. Howell) show up to attend the funeral. What follows is a cat-and-mouse game between the members of the family and the revenge-seeking doll. As the plot thickens, secrets are revealed and bodies pile up. Nica is a strong protagonist who follows her instincts, searching to uncover the mystery behind the doll.
Fans of the Child’s Play series will enjoy the film, especially since the past two films, Seed of Chucky and Bride of Chucky, were more gruesome and had more characters filling the scenes. Although Don Mancini wrote every film in the franchise, Seed of Chucky and Curse of Chucky are the only ones he directed. And yes, Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) does make an appearance, helping to uncover the reason he is terrorizing the family. This fun, creepy horror flick will delight movie lovers, and is certainly a good choice for Halloween night. The Blu-ray director’s cut is certainly a must-see! Cult of Chucky, the seventh film in the Chucky franchise, is here to scare fans with bloodshed and dark humor. It’s available on Blu-ray, DVD and on Netflix.
Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
