Kidman thinks Kate Hudson should try Broadway

Kate Hudson was so amazing in the musical Nine that Nicole Kidman and director Rob Marshall are still in shock. They truly believe that Hudson should play a leading role in a Broadway musical. It seems that the number Hudson did was one of the film’s strongest moments, and some believe that she is bound for an Oscar nomination at the next ceremony. “I came into the rehearsal and I saw Kate dancing up a storm. That was my first day and I was very jet-lagged but I went, ‘Wow, that was amazing.’ I can’t wait for people to see that part of her,” raves Kidman. Orange News adds that Marshall completely agrees. “She (Hudson) has this hidden talent that nobody knows about. She opened her mouth to sing and there was this incredible singer and then when she moved I saw this proper dancer.” Nine, which also stars Daniel Day-Lewis, hits theaters Christmas day.
