Lady Gaga may cancel tour date

Lady Gaga may have to cancel her sold out concert in Jakarta, Indonesia. The show, which was originally scheduled for June 3rd, has caused quite an uproar among many Islamic groups. The Born this Way singer’s permit was denied after a number of protests formed, claiming Gaga would corrupt young people with her sexual image and provocative dance moves. “We will stop her from setting foot on our land. She had better not dare spread her satanic faith in this country,” said Salim Alatas, the chairman of the Muslim Defenders Team and Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). “Her style is vulgar, her sexual and indecent clothes will destroy our children’s sense of morality. She’s very dangerous,” continued Alatas. Some people have even threatened to use physical force to keep the singer out of their country. Although this show may be cancelled and fans have been very vocal about their disappointment, Gaga could end up performing in another Indonesian city according to local reports. Hopefully, this dispute will end soon for everyone’s safety.  ~Krystin Edgerton

It’s interesting to know that they find lady gaga’s provocative nature far more dangerous than suicide bombers, war, oppression of women and terrorism.
