Lindsay Lohan admits to cocaine use and alcohol addiction

Lindsay Lohan, 27, confessed to being an “addict” in a new interview with Oprah Winfrey that aired last night on OWN network. The Canyons star admitted that she lied about the number of times she used cocaine, confessing that it was 10-15 times rather than three or four. “I was terrified of being judged,” said Lohan, who pointed out that she was addicted to alcohol in particular. “That, in the past, was a gateway to other things for me. I tried cocaine with alcohol.” Lohan, who has been in rehab for a total of six times so far, claimed that she’s now clean and credits her attorney, Shawn Holley, with helping her. “She’s my family, she’s been through a lot with me, she’s stood by me,” she said. “I love her. She’s got a great spirit and cares for me and wants what’s best for me.” Lohan also stated that she is looking to get her career back on track. “I’m ready to get the thing that has made me happiest my whole life back, which is to work really hard, stay focused and prove myself,” she said. “I have to regain trust in people, in my career, that had doubts, and I fully respect that on their behalf. As long as I stay honest in myself and do the work I’m willing to do and have been willing to do and am doing, then nothing can stand in my way. First, I doubt anyone who can’t keep track of their wreck-of-a-life can actually track of the amount of times they used coke.
Secondly, lawyers aren’t your friend, and they’re cerainly not your family. You don’t have to pay for either.
Third, She’s 27? I thought she was older. She looks to be pushing 40.
Yeah typical. I’ll screw up for a few years and then ask people for forgiveness. How dare you say I don’t like to be known!!! Why the hell are you an actress for then. MONEY AND FAME. I call bullshit on this whole statement. There’s a lot of people that do this job seriously and respect their fans and the people that pay good meney to see them.
She looks like a disaster to me and maybe many people out there. But as a regular people, I may not be able to understand what she is going through. There can be a lot of pressure for someone in her position..
