Madonna covers Lady Gaga’s Born This Way

Madonna has definitely expressed herself towards Lady Gaga. The pop music icons have been bashing heads since the release of Gaga’s hit single “Born This Way” last year. When the song first emerged in the media, Madonna compared it to her classic song “Express Yourself,” taking stabs at Gaga’s intentions. Isn’t copying someone a sign of flattery? In the music business and especially to Madonna it doesn’t seem that way. A video has surfaced with the 53-year-old mashing together her “Express Yourself” with Gaga’s “Born This Way,” for her upcoming MDNA tour. Fans camping outside her rehearsal at Raman Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv filmed her putting the two songs together on stage, while repeating “She’s not me” several times at the end. ~Graeme Mollison

Madonna is dumb. Madonna has no talent. Madonna is a prick. Madonna is a copycat. Madonna is nothing.

    I’d still hit that. Twice.

So Gaga pays respect to Madonna by sampling Express Yourself for Born This Way and the song is almost as popular as the original. Now Madonna performs a mash-up of the two and she gets dumped on for being insecure and a copycat?
She is the original queen of pop – she paved the way for younger singers like Gaga, show some respect.
