Madonna disses another fan – Lady Gaga

During an interview with the French paper Le Soir, Madonna, who’s at the Venice Film Festival this week promoting her new film W.E., was asked how she perceives the admiration of her fans, including Lady Gaga who has openly admitted to being a fan. At a press conference earlier this week Madonna dissed a fan who was kind enough to give her a beautiful hydrangea, saying she hates that kind of flower. She continued to show disdain for her fans during the interview, answering ungraciously, “As for Lady Gaga, I have no comment to make about her obsessions having to do with me because I don’t know whether her behavior is rooted in something deep and meaningful, or superficial.” Could her snarky reply have something to do with professional jealousy, perhaps?

Madonna had her day, and I have to admit I thought she was fabulous in the 80’s. Time to move on and perhaps put more of her focus into her children, charities and inspiring artists to be original. Listen, I get that Madonna’s cranky — that happens when you get older. The professional thing to do is to say ‘yeah, thanks’ and move along, even if you don’t like it. The problem is that folks’ve been kowtowing to her for so long that she’s believing her own hype. When other people start calling Lady Gaga the next Madonna, she’s getting her nose all out of joint because someone younger (who can actually sing) is stepping into a niche that she created and is making it her own. Madonna: Be happy that someone who seems to give a shit is actually out there and doing a decent job of filling your shoes. It could be a lot worse.
Who needs your opinion on Lady GaGa, as if anyone cares what you think of her we all know she is fabulously talented, you can’t say anything nice because you are so afraid you are passe , over, done and she is the limelight and she doesn’t wear a cross around her neck which in your case is almost sacriligious. As for the other fans you have dissed, you forget who made you into a star (ex-star) but it’s all over Madonna.

We are all dissing Madonna which is totally fine, she is done. BUT, I’m sure at some point in our lives we hummed one of her tunes. I can’t say we watched a decent film of hers, but sung along with her on the radio maybe. If she was to pass on like MJ, I’m sure we’d all say she WAS an icon at one point and did pave the way for people like GaGa. Madonna was the epitome of controversy at one point, now it’s time she retire though.

In the entertainment business, unfortunately, your looks matter a great deal. However, those who show respect towards other individuals in the same profession or to those who showed kindness through simply gestures such as giving flowers, are those who age gracefully and are greatly admired in this field.
Obviously Madonna hasn`t reached that level of maturity yet or maybe never will. In this picture she looks as if she put a ton of make up on her face in order to cover the wrinkles……Didn`t work Madonna. No matter how much make up you put on people can still see through you.
Madonna is a true original and star and always will be. Lady Gaga sucks ass! She tries too hard with all her gimicy outrageous outfits and her voice sucks. Plus Lady Gaga is unattractive. Definitely not very courteous on Madge’s part, but courtesy and good manners have never been a mainstay of her persona. As for Gaga… She’s all about the gimmick. Her music is uber commercial and completely lacking in originality. Madonna speaks her mind. If Gaga’s music actually had merit, maybe Madonna would have something positive to say about it.
