Madonna refuses to sing because of smokers

Earning an estimated $228.4 million in ticket sales, pop music icon Madonna‘s ongoing international act, MDNA,  is the top-grossing tour of 2012. But besides record sales, it seems like the Material Girl’s mouth has been stirring up a fuss all on its own. In September, Madge called President Barack Obama a “Black Muslim” while on stage in Washington D.C.; controversially rallied for gay rights in Russia and supported imprisoned female punk rock group Pussy Riot. But while performing in Santiago, Chile earlier this week, Madonna’s latest remarks were surprisingly aimed at her own fans. While conducting a sound check in the rain, Madonna’s umbrella flipped inside out and the crowd started laughing. Enraged, the pop diva stopped the practice performance to call out people smoking cigarettes in the crowd. Madonna said, “I can’t sing if you smoke,” and added that “if you’re going to smoke cigarettes, I’m not doing a show.” The W.E. director appeared hurt by the crowd’s reaction, as she then angrily berated audience members, saying, “You’re looking right at me and smoking cigarettes, like I’m a stupid f***ing idiot,” and stormed off stage. ~Brandon Bastaldo

She’s an old lady, grandmother in a tight two piece bikini, I think it’s high time to stay with radio and the red carpet where everything is controlled.. There is something really wrong with kids today wanting to see their mother on stage all dolled up and looking haggish for the pervs out there just trying to get a glimps of the old stuff….
