Steven Yeun – Okja (2017) & Burning (2018)

While Steven Yeun is a Korean-born actor, he and his family immigrated to Canada and later moved to the U.S. while he was still a young child. So on a technicality of where he’s spent the majority of his life, and where he’s made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, he’ll count for this list. That said, The Walking Dead star paid tribute to his Korean roots in 2017 and 2018 starring in the critically acclaimed Korean films Okja and Burning from directors Bong Joon-ho and Chang-dong Lee respectively. Though he has yet to truly separate himself from his iconic role of Glenn Rhee, roles like K and Ben in Okja and Burning should go a long way in showing audiences the versatility he has as an actor.
