Scott Pilgrim – Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)

Edgar Wright's beloved 2010 adaptation of the Bryan Lee O'Malley graphic novel series was easily one of the most underappreciated classics of the 2010s. In spite of that, the film has an ardent fan base thanks to its colorful cast, timeless humor, electric soundtrack, and impressive visual style. At the center of it all is Michael Cera's Scott Pilgrim, a mid-20s bass guitarist whose band is still looking to make it big, while he deals with his selfishness and girl problems. With Cera still at the peak of his popularity, the film is a nice reminder of the comedic actor's talents as they're on full display, playing off a cast that included the likes of Alison Pill, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aubrey Plaza, Anna Kendrick, and Chris Evans, to name a few.
