Police raid Charlie Sheen’s house for guns

By Alexandra Heilbron on March 11, 2011 | 3 Comments

Members of the Los Angeles Police Department searched Charlie Sheen‘s house for guns last night, after receiving a call that he’d threatened to shoot himself. It was not known who placed the call, but Sheen is prohibited from owning any guns under the terms of the restraining order obtained by Brooke Mueller. Charlie’s lawyer Mark Gross told TMZ that police found one antique rifle from the 1800s and “a few bullets.” While the search was going on, Sheen, his lawyers and several friends stayed in the backyard. The actor was not arrested following the raid and was reportedly co-operative with officials. Afterwards, Charlie tried to downplay the raid, tweeting: “#fastball; the LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! they can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!! c”
