Rihanna mortified by naked photo leak

By Alexandra Heilbron on April 7, 2011 | 23 Comments

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Rihanna admitted she was mortified to find out naked pictures of herself had been leaked online. She says she had just arrived at the airport in Hawaii when a friend sent her a text to warn her about the pics. She reveals she was so shocked, “I could barely stand. I went to the first bathroom I saw and just sat in the stall with the door open. People kept coming in and staring at me sitting on the toilet bowl. I was mortified. I didn’t even want to leave the airport.” However, that doesn’t mean she won’t consider taking nude photographs of herself in the future. She told the magazine: “When you’re not with the person you want to be intimate with, a picture is the next best thing. When you’re alone, and those horny moments come up, pictures can be very handy.” In the same interview, she admitted she’s submissive in the bedroom: “I think I’m a bit masochistic. I love feeling like I’m somebody’s girl. I love to be tied up and spanked. Using whips and chains is too planned… you have to stop and look for the whip. I prefer them to use their hands.” [poll=267]

What a skank. I hate her music. I hope both she and Brown have their careers go down the toilet.

Some people make provocative music just so people get a thrill out of it and buy albums. It looks like what you see in her video is what you get in the bedroom in her case.

Why would she be “mortified”? She doesn’t seem to care too much about protecting her privacy or show any discretion when discussing her sexual behaviour.

Of course that preferred behaviour doesn’t mean she gives permission to be beaten, but it does give another indication of a likely dysfunctional and turbulent relationship that is probably mostly due to the young age (and hence immaturity) of the two of them.

I get the fact that she might be adventurous and might want to take these kind of photos because she is that type of a person. I get it and that is cool. The issue that she clearly has just found out though is when you’re famous OTHER people inevitably will want to try and get shots of you without your clothes on. With that in mind these types of photos are perfectly fine so long as they are kept between you and a long term partner who is respectful of you and your career. Otherwise…HELLLOOOZ InterWebz!

So Andrea, she’s a skank because she likes having sex and talks about it? I hope you can get some.

Give me a break just another publicity stunt
these kids will do anything to keep their names in the news “mortified” puhleeeeeze
then don’t take nude photos of yourself DUH!!!

  7. Connie • April 7, 2011 @ 12:02 PM

Maybe, Greg, Andrea prefers to keeps private things private and wouldn’t consider blabbing to strangers what kind of kinky sex she’s into. It’s called class.

  8. Greg • April 7, 2011 @ 12:15 PM

Connie, talking about sex has nothing to do with being classy. Sex is a natural thing. I think you meant to say she (and you) are prudes

  9. Red • April 7, 2011 @ 12:29 PM

I’ll agree with Silver on this one, and Connie too. I don’t think talking about sex in general is bad, but personal matters should be kept private.

I guess that S&M is true afterall! lol

  13. Nicole • April 7, 2011 @ 6:24 PM

Mortified?? Give me a break. The best way to distrct from the fact that you are a slut who gave out naked pictues of yourself is to talk about your S & M peferences… whats next Rhianna – you can always mention that you also like anal…anyways I will be looking up those pictues right after I am done with this comment- just for a good laugh.

  14. K&M • April 7, 2011 @ 7:54 PM

I stand by the motto, “to each their own” and respect her choice to express her sexuality but I’m seeing some discrepencies here. How naive does one have to be to be that famous and have friends/coworkers have naked photos, “leaked” every single day and not expect it to happen to you when you do it? You’re Rhianna. Come on.

Also if you’re in an interview and feel it necessary for the world to know that you’re “mortified” about racy pictures being viewed publicly, why would you then release statements using language like, “horny” and revealing the most intimate details of your sex life?

It sounds like she might be playing a part and (if she even engages in S&M) when she uses the word “submissive” it might just mean she let’s her partner do what they want to get off. I hope that this is not the case and she’s very clear and open about what is ok and not ok behavior and both partners are respected.

Are you SERIOUS? I am deeply offended by the poll question of this article.

“Yes. He’d been given permission to put his hands on her before, so if he got carried away, who can blame him?”

WHAT?! and 12 percent of voters believe this?!?!?! Unbelievable. Victim-blaming is despicable and you should all be ashamed of yourselves, Tribute especially. NO ONE deserves to be abused. Everyone saw the pictures. She was beaten and that is certainly NOT part of S&M.

    This is extremely offensive.
    I seriously can’t believe it….

  16. nobody important • April 7, 2011 @ 11:40 PM

I never even noticed the poll. Wow, that’s pathetic.
It looks like it was written by a wife-beater.

  17. some of u are so stupid • April 8, 2011 @ 12:14 AM

just because she sings about certain things or talks openly about her sexual prefs, doesn’t mean she deserves this kind of publicity–these are very different things for those of you morons who can’t distinguish. and for the record, there are those close to you whom you have no idea what turns them on in the bdrm so don’t even judge!

  18. Lloyd • April 8, 2011 @ 11:59 AM

@Greg. Sex is natural, talking about sex is fine, but going into an interview and telling hundreds of thousands of people that you’re into getting hit and other very private stuff is not classy at all. It’s not being a prude to expect privacy in bedroom matters.

And I laughed at mortified. Her performances and videos leave little to the imagination already. Doesn’t make much difference in seeing her naked IMO.

  19. RiRi • April 8, 2011 @ 9:46 PM

Women like to be in control of themselves and this was definitely not okay for her. I also think part of the interview is taken out of context to make Rihanna look bad. I do agree that she does sexualize herself a lot, but that could also be her management’s idea who knows. I’m indifferent.

  20. LuvMyVamps! • April 9, 2011 @ 11:34 PM

    hahahaha!… next up???

  21. Lin • April 11, 2011 @ 12:32 PM

    I can’t stand her !!!!

  22. C-Dub • April 11, 2011 @ 9:42 PM

Wow, mortified yet then says she basically m-bates to nudie pics when she is horny and talks about being a masochist? Doesn’t make sense. If you are mortified then shush….stop putting your foot (other other things) in your mouth. Doesn’t go along with being mortified comment.
Still, I love you Rhianna lol.
