Tom Hiddleston replaces Benedict Cumberbatch in Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak

Tom Hiddleston, 32, has replaced Benedict Cumberbatch, 37, in Guillermo del Toro’s horror film Crimson Peak. The Avengers star revealed to BuzzFeed that Benedict – who dropped out in August – had no animosity towards his fellow British actor. “The thing is we’re really good friends, and as soon as Guillermo called, I called Benedict and I said this is happening, and he was like, ‘Amazing!’” said Hiddleston. “So, I had his blessing.” Tom joins a cast that includes Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Hunnam.
