Nicole Kidman, 46, may replace Naomi Watts, 44, in the leading role for Werner Herzog‘s Queen Of The Desert, according to Deadline. The film will chronicle the life of Gertrude Bell, an “iconic explorer, writer, archeologist and attaché for the British Empire” in the 20th century. If Nicole signs on, she will join a cast that already includes Robert Pattinson and James Franco. Nicole will next be seen in Olivier Dahan’s Grace of Monaco, where she plays Hollywood royalty Grace Kelly. It arrives in theaters November 27. ~Alfonso Espina
