Lady Gaga doesn’t always act like much of a lady according to a former assistant. Jennifer O’Neill, 41, is suing the superstar’s tour company, Mermaid Touring Company, for $380,000 in unpaid overtime during the time she spent working with Gaga on her 2010 Monster Ball world tour. The New York Post obtained the court papers filed by O’Neill in Manhattan federal court last week, which stated that there were no meal breaks, sometimes even no sleep breaks, and the assistant had to be ready to address “spontaneous, random matters in the middle of the night.” O’Neill also stated that her job included “ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep [Gaga] on schedule.” Gaga’s rep has dismissed the allegations, telling The New York Post that they’re “completely without merit.”

Lady Gaga delivers a radiant performance alongside co-star and director Bradley Cooper. The film nominated for eights Oscar is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
that’s a personal slave, I mean assistant. Isn’t it the job they signed up for?
IKR C-Dub. What did she think she was going to be doing?
Yes but she wasn’t paid her overtime. Im pretty sure that’s where the problem lies….or did you not read the article?
SOOOO, she waited till her unpaid overtime tallied over $380k?????? Then wanted to take people to court. Where’s the part in the article where she said she asked over and over to get paid more for her extra time? Or to revise a hiring contract to state overtime payments. Is personal assistance thru an agency or are they business for self? If they are business for self, then maybe she should have negotiated that or left earlier than when she calculated $380k worth of OT.
