Upcoming movie: "Sweatbox sickness"

July 20, 2016

Be prepared to sweat your ass off in the stale putrid air. Nasty, gross theatre. Get out the bull dozers! Just filthy and Landmark just doesn't give a shit.

I'd rather buy a flight to Vancouver

December 07, 2015

Even Juneau has a nice, clean theatre. What the heck. I go maybe once a year and realize why I hadn't gone the last 11 months. The Cineplex in Vancouver is like going to the spa compared to these theatres.

Now Playing: Broken Dreams

March 13, 2015

Not an ounce of maintenance in twenty years. Filthy floors, bathrooms and seats. Broken heating and ventilation. Poor sound, screen and service. Movies don't start on time. Smells like a bag of mouldy cabbage that someone peed on. Get your twinrix.

Dilapidated and stained.

February 01, 2015

The screen is dented and uneven, the projector light was dim, the sound was thin and poor, and it looks like they must encourage people to spit their gum on the floor - you can't step anywhere without stepping on something sticky.

Bunch of whiners

November 29, 2014

The theatres are fine. We should be happy we even have a theatre in Whitehorse, not to mention two of them. The sound and the picture quality are fine by my account. Yes the smiles exactly flowing from the workers and the odd sticky floor - no worse than down south. Stop whining people and be thankful.

What happened to the ventilation?

November 18, 2014

I live downtown and we use both theatres often. I make sure to wear clothes that I leave outside when I get home and wear gloves in the theatre. Never eat there. Bring your own food if you must combine eating and moving watching here. Also, I don't think the ventilation system works in either building. Hence the smell of rancid oil, sticky floors and body odour. Expect this when you go.
