Benedict Cumberbatch photobombs Meryl Streep at Golden Globes

CumberbatchAt last night’s Golden Globe Awards, The Imitation Game star Benedict Cumberbatch, 38, lost to The Theory of Everything‘s Eddie Redmayne for the award of Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. However, he takes the award for best photobomb of the night.

During a running sketch of the show featuring Margaret Cho as a North Korean journalist, Benedict scored some extra screen time by photobombing a picture of Margaret posing with Into the Woods star Meryl Streep. Benedict is hilariously featured in the background popping up with his hand in the air while Birdman‘s Michael Keaton captured the moment. Check the gif below. ~Janine Wyslobicky
