Blake Lively faces off against Ryan Reynolds’ mother

First Blake Lively angered her New York neighbors and now her potential in-laws aren’t crazy about her either. Star Magazine reports a recent hometown visit to Vancouver erupted in a major fight between the Gossip Girl actress and Tammy, the mother of her Canadian boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, that prompted Lively to storm out. According to the magazine, the fight boils down to Tammy’s disapproval over Ryan’s main squeeze. She feels an actress like Lively would put her career before her boyfriend, something Tammy doesn’t want for her son. A source also says she feels Lively is pressuring Reynolds to settle down before he’s ready — rumors are flying that the couple plan to wed in New York next summer. Reynolds’ two-year marriage to Scarlett Johansson ended in 2010. What the couple will do following their wedding remains to be seen, as a source says Tammy is urging them to relocate full-time to Vancouver. “She says when they have kids, Blake and Ryan should raise them in Canada because it’s safer,” Star Magazine reports. “Blake refuses to even consider that, saying that she has to be in New York for work.” Lively may not have that excuse for much longer as Gossip Girl’s final season finishes taping this fall. ~Kyle Sharp

She is smokin hot, but not worth fighting over. Ok, what’s Ryan’s reaction? How do they (the tabloid) know the topic and what the mother and Blake argued about and yet where’s Ryan’s stance? Why no comment from him? Did he stick up for mamma or gf?

And damn right, raise the kid Canadian!
Hmm..I wonder which would be better in raising children, a Gossip Girl or The Green Lantern? I mean, sure Gossip Girl will be over soon, but when mother is out with her lady friends and daddy is off in another galaxy battling who knows.. hey! maybe the children will turn into the Fantastic Four by playing with some radiation from dad’s secret hidden closet. Being a Canadian is one thing, our good friends south of us aren’t as bad either. There are more flags on people’s houses/apartments in the U.S. symbolizing patriotism than there are here in Canada. Kids today don’t even know all the words to our national anthem.
Wherever they choose to raise their family(perhaps somewhere on the border line part Vancouver part Seattle?) Then they’d be like half and half cream lol. A mix of both worlds. When the kids get older, they’ll surely decide for themselves whether to be a Canadian or American, or duel citizen for that matter.
since when does the mother of a full grown man get to choose where this woman should raise her kids? shouldnt that be the couples decision?
