Chris Brown to tour with Usher

By Alexandra Heilbron on August 19, 2010 | 15 Comments

It looks like Chris Brown is finally moving on with his career following his vicious assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Not only is he starring in the new movie Takers alongside Matt Dillon and Paul Walker, but producer Bryan Michael Cox announced yesterday that he’ll be touring with Usher. “Usher and the boy Chris Brown are going on tour, y’all know that, right?” Cox asked viewers on a video posted on YouTube. “They might don’t know that,” says Jermaine Dupri, who is filming, to which Cox replies, “I might’ve just gave y’all some exclusive s**t.” Though it hasn’t been confirmed by their reps, Brown and Usher both went on Twitter to talk about it. “What would you guys say if me and usher went on tour?” Chris Brown asked, while Usher tweeted, “If you could see Usher perform live with anyone — who would it be?” [Poll=214]

Nothing is going to save Chris Brown’s career. If anything, this will reflect badly on Usher. He’ll probably sell less tickets with that guy on his tour.

hahahaha it’s a sad day when anjelina dressing up like a man, scarring Maddox for life (???) holds more interest than this…

Charlie Sheen and others have moved on without jail – what more does everyone want from Chris Brown – DEATH SENTENCE? He was so much younger, did a horrible thing and apologized, lost heavily in his career, not to mention paid a price in jail. Will no one now give him a break?

He’s such a little prick, he should just disappear for a couple of years. ANd, then come back and maybe people will like him again, but I seriously doubt it. No man should ever hit a woman, ever. Not unless they were trying to kill them.
Chris Brown is just like Bobby Brown, and his carrer never recovered, Bobby is only known for beating up Whitney. And Chris won’t be known for his music anymore, he’ll always be known for beating up Rihanna.

Had it been the other way around, would you all shunning Chris Brown Shun Rihanna for so long? Yeah he made a huge mistake, he has learned from it, they have both grown and gone there separate ways. People need to move on, not forget what he has done. But at least stop shoving it into his face.

Yeah Chris Brown beat up Rihanna, but other celebrities such as charlie sheen have done the same and they still have careers. in my opinion chris paid for what he did and everyone needs to get over it and leave him alone. plus he’s a fantastic singer

Sean Connery did, does the same to his wife

Sam, yes, we would all shun Rihanna if she’d beaten Chris so badly that his face was black and blue and so swollen it was unrecognizable. Actually, I’m not that fond of her anyway. She wasn’t on my radar before this incident, and now that I know who she is, I don’t like her music, I don’t want to see her on TV and I think she has bad choice in men.

Its done and over with, let the dude move on!I’m pretty sure he’s been with other woman since this happened, and there hasn’t been any report’s of him abusing them!!!Rihanna has moved on,let Chris do the same!!!

Well, at least we know that if they don’t get along on tour, Usher won’t get his ass beat. Pieces of garbage like Brown can’t handle trouble with MEN.
As for those who say “let him get on with his life”, he IS. And he has no emotional scars to carry with him, like she does. He should be in jail, and any woman out there who dates him now is stupid, knowing he’s an abuser.

  13. WendyU • August 20, 2010 @ 8:48 PM

Also ,she has NOT moved on. She’s in a song with Eminem about it, and she sucks so bad that people are now only buying her tickets and cds because they feel sorry for her.
But it’s ok, because Brown sucks worse.

I wouldn’t see anything he’s in, that goes for TV, concerts or movies. Maybe in about 5 or 10 years, but for now he needs to take a break because so far I haven’t heard a sincere apology. I still don’t think he realizes that what he did was wrong, or why it was wrong. All he knows is that it hurt his career and reputation, and that part, he’s sorry about. He was vacationing a few days after, jetting about on a water ski! And I blame Rihanna for not making it clear that it was over as soon as it happened and for seeing him again. In about 5+ years, maybe he’ll have grown up enough to realize what he did and actually feel sorry about it but until then, no, I don’t want to see him or hear about him. He can go get a job or go to school in the meantime, I’m sure he has some money put away.
