Dakota Fanning wants to work with Foster

Dakota Fanning is desperate to work with Jodie Foster. The 16-year-old actress shot to fame when she was a child, appearing in the 2001 movie I Am Sam opposite Sean Penn. She has since worked with Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington, Mike Myers and a host of other A-list stars but dreams of collaborating with Jodie. “I feel so lucky to have been able to have the opportunities that I’ve had. I know some people aren’t that lucky but I want to work with Jodie Foster,” Dakota said. “I really admire her, her career and what she’s done. I can only hope to be just a little bit of how great she is.” Dakota is pleased with the way she has transitioned from child star to adult actor. “I know this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, but I think that everything can end tomorrow,” she told the British edition of OK! magazine. “You have to live your life for the moment and not take it for granted. I don’t think you ever feel completely secure.”

    They’d be great playing mother/daughter or aunt/niece.

She’s one child star that seems to have turned out okay. Unfortunately the exception rather than the rule.

I saw her in a Japan interview on youtube when she was much younger promoting a movie, although there were communication blockage. She managed it very well at a young age and was very very respectful of everyone there.
