Girls star Allison Williams is engaged to Ricky Van Veen. Alison, who plays uptight aspiring singer Marnie Michaels on the HBO series, is set to marry her boyfriend of three years after he popped the question recently. A spokesperson for the 25-year-old actress confirmed the news to PEOPLE.com. The brunette beauty, whose father is NBC news anchor Brian Williams, met Ricky, the co-founder of College Humor, a popular comedy brand and website, through mutual friends. The couple are good pals with Katy Perry and her ex-boyfriend John Mayer, who split in recent days, and were regularly spotted on double dates with them in New York City in the past.
