Selma Blair fired from Anger Management

It seems that where Charlie Sheen goes, drama follows. This time it appears he’s behind the sudden exit of Selma Blair on Anger Management. After a feud with Charlie, Selma Blair is not reprising her role on the show. Studio Lionsgate Television confirmed the news Tuesday afternoon in a statement:  “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.” TMZ reported earlier that Charlie allegedly threatened to depart the comedy if Selma was not fired, causing a dispute between the two. Charlie himself was fired from Two and a Half Men in 2011 after notoriously clashing with producers. Anger Management, in which the 47-year-old actor has an ownership stake, was his TV series comeback. Selma reportedly had been complaining about her co-star’s work ethic and tardiness, angering Charlie. On the show, the actress played Dr. Kate Wales, Charlie’s therapist and best friend. There is no news whether the character will be axed or if another actress will sub in, however her departure will not impact the production of the series, which will continue as planned. ~Naomi Leanage

Charlie Sheen needs to get over himself!! I can’t stand him and am in utter amazement how these producers put up with his childish and unprofessional behaviour. Selma is better off without this gig with this total loser!

Well, considering enough people love him and the show so much that it got a FOUR YEAR renewal from the network, it’s safe to say that the “get over yourself” crowd is vastly outnumbered by Charlie’s fans.
Long may he reign. And may he remain drug-free.

Hey Charlie, Michael Jackson is calling you to join him. And the sooner the better!

As much as I hate to say it, Charlie Sheen makes the show, any show he’s been in for that matter. Two and a Half Men was crap without him and this show would be too…so I guess they better listen to the bitter man.

Charlie should put into practice some of his anger management techniques used in the show, outside the show.
