Julia Roberts told Elle magazine that unlike many other Hollywood celebrities, she refuses to have Botox and one reason is because she’s afraid her children won’t understand her facial expressions. She said: “It’s unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don’t even give themselves a chance to see what they’ll look like as an older person. I want to have some idea of what I’ll look like before I start cleaning the slates. I want my kids to know when I’m pissed, when I’m happy, and when I’m confounded. Your face tells a story and it shouldn’t be a story about your drive to the doctor’s office.”

good for you. you are an amazing person, excellent choice.
She is aging so gracefully, I hope she never has plastic surgery in the future. Hollywood needs at least one beautiful person to age without surgery or botox. It’s all too common nowadays. It’s like if an actress turns 34 she’ll be like, oh no im old now! I need botox and a brow lift!
Whatever happened to aging gracefully? Someone should have had a talk with Joan Rivers before she had her 30 surgeries
diane keaton looks good. i dont know if she has had botox?
She needs all the work she can get. lol. Joking. the natural way is the best way. She is a talented actress and with lick, she will continue to age gracefully and show all the others who get work done on themselves that they opened pandoras box.
Well Good for her it’s better to go a natural way 🙂
Good for her, she is a naturally beautiful woman, and growing old can be a beautiful process.
I am on some cosmetics forum and women on there who are not even 25 are discussing getting botox.
You also hear of that 18 year old girl who is on Glee getting Botox on TV?
really, this is just crazy thesedays.
“I want to see what I look like BEFORE I start cleaning the slates….” one word says it all….
As much as I dislike Julia Roberts as an actress. Her acting style and the roles she chooses just aren’t my cup of tea. I really do respect her a great deal for making this decision. She should be congratulated and I am glad this type of thing has made headlines.
