Audiences get a scare in Sony Picture’s new horror flick Don’t Breathe, opening nationwide this weekend. Jason Statham is back as an elite assassin in the action packed thriller Mechanic: Resurrection, the sequel to 2011 movie The Mechanic. The Barack and Michelle Obama love story is brought to the big screen by executive producer John Legend in Southside With You. ~Emily Hatfield 

Don’t Breathe – A group of young thieves, Alex (Dylan Minnette), Rocky (Jane Levy) and Money (Daniel Zovatto), break into the home of a blind military veteran (Stephen Lang) to steal cash. However, things don’t go as planned. The veteran turns out to be not nearly as helpless as they thought. Opening nationwide. Click here for showtimes.

Mechanic: Resurrection – Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham), a former elite assassin who specialized in making deaths look like accidents, is forced out of retirement when Gina (Jessica Alba), the love of his life, is kidnapped. To save her from his worst enemy, Bishop must travel the globe to assassinate three of the most powerful people alive. Not only that, but he has to make all three deaths look like accidents.
