The Originals: The Rise book and poster giveaway

Fans of Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah can now bite into the history of the Mikaelson family with the release of The Originals: The Rise book. If you’re a devoted fan of The CW drama The Originals, you’d be happy to know that series creator Julie Plec has penned three books based on the show. The books are said to be a prequel to the show as it digs into the Mikaelson family’s troubled past. The second and third books are titled The Originals: The Loss and The Originals: The Resurrection.
The Originals: The Rise takes us back to New Orleans in 1722. The Mikaelson siblings arrive, hoping they have left their past behind them. But love and endless family drama, which makes this book irresistible, gets in the way of their happy ending. Klaus falls in love with the only woman off limits to the Mikaelsons – a witch named Vivenne. That doesn’t stop him from planning to make this lady his own. Elijah is trying hard to find a place to call home and Rebekah search for allies by invading a camp of human soldiers.
Filled with family drama, love and battle, this book is just the first in the trilogy that will shed light on The Original family’s mysterious past and origins. If you’d like to pre-order the book, click here.

My favourite character is Camille because she isn’t afraid stand up to anyone especially Klaus and I also love Rebekah because she acts like shes inviscible but deep down she has a heart 🙂

Klaus is my favourite character. I loved the role he played in vampire diaries with Caroline. Its hard not to hate him in the Originals. He has power and gets any job he has his mind to done.
My favourite character in The Originals is Rebekah Mikaelson because although she is a vampire, deep down she just wants to have human experiences that any human wants, such as falling in love and raising a family. This vulnerability to her character makes her seem very relatable to me. She is also very strong-willed and cares deeply about her brothers, even though their family dynamics can be turbulent at times.
I love Klaus, his snark and monstrous behaviour is just pure joy to watch.

Hard to pick a single favorite character. Each one is strong and yet has an endearing weakness that gives them a vulnerability. I think Rebecca is my favorite tho, because she tries to hard. She isn’t afraid to throw herself into each endeavor, even if she has incredibly bad judgement about what those endeavors should be.

My favorite character is Klaus hands down. I love Klaus because he is not afraid to be who he is. He does some of the most unforgivable things but I can’t hate him. When someone else does thing to hurt him I can’t stand them. Klaus doe the wrong things for tue right reasons.
Everyone is amazing, but I would have to say that Elijah Mikaelson is my favorite character. He’s a noble man and also kicks so much butt! I love his image including the story behind it, and he always puts his family first. “Always and forever.” x

Elijah, for sure. He wants more than anything to keep his family safe and together no matter the cost to his personal happiness. He’s usually so calm and composed but when someone he loves is threatened he turns into a precise and almost ruthless killing machine. All while looking good in that suit, of course.
Klaus is my favorite, he is complicated. Despite being the bad guy, he will occationally show his previous self and that he cares and has a heart. Those moment make it hard not to love him.
My favorite character is Elijah, because he never gave up on his brother Klaus. He always belived in their promise of ‘Always and Forever’ that family is the most important thing. That family is power itself, and sucess is nothing if have no one left to share it with.

Klaus because he has that bad boy attitude but underneath the bad boy attitude he has a heart. The way he feels for hope is just amazing. I also say Elijah because he is the most loving and gentle but underneath all that goodness is a bad boy wanting to come out. They both are smoking hot, which is a bonus.

Definitely Klaus, because he’s always been my favorite character! Even when they first portrayed him as a villan, on The Vampire Diaries, he still had that charm, and bad-ass good looks, so I’ve always loved him! Even when he was the bad guy! I love that he’s into art & music, and that he always wins every battle. He’s so smart and bad-ass! And the fact that he cares so much about his family, is great! He has so many layers, and he’s such an interesting character. I find him so compelling to watch, and Joseph Morgan is such an amazing actor, that I could watch The Originals all day long! Also, I have to say that I love the rest of the characters too, and they work very well together. Amazing show!
My favourite character is Klaus! He’s very entertaining and cunning. He’s the character that I think of when I hear “The Originals”. He was so bad (in a good way) on the Vampire Diaries but charming at the same time! Great show!!
Rebekah is the best character. She is kind…helping others even if there is no upside for her. She is not perfect and accepts her flaws. She is also all about girlpower and is great in a fight+
hard 2 choose but i think Niklaus,he deals with any1 who gets in his way & protects those close 2 him without caring about the consequences,take his daughter hope 4 as an example & when he saved Camille from Mikael @ d risk of the white oak stake piercing his heart.
