Charlie Sheen’s TV crew say he was a problem on set

In contrast to Charlie Sheen‘s claims that he was completely professional on the Two and a Half Men set, crew members who worked with him say otherwise. Several crew members talked to the Daily Beast, saying that after he married Brooke Mueller, his behavior on set became a problem. Despite being the only cast member to get special treatment, such as being allowed to smoke on set and not having to show up on Monday for the script read through, he complained constantly. “He hated being there and he’d tell us,” one source said. “He’d complain about his character’s costume and just being there in general.” Sheen apparently grew more and more problematic after he trashed a New York City hotel room last October. “He started not showing up for rehearsals or he’d come very late. I honestly can’t remember any day during that time that it didn’t seem like he’d had a rough night the night before. The writers were having to write around him a lot,” another insider explained. “They had him sitting on a couch a lot, and the focus was more on Jon Cryer and (Angus T. Jones). Charlie was forgetting his lines and he never did that before. He got progressively worse.” One crew member says Sheen would often flub his lines during the live taping each week. “The audience laughed nervously and I remember it being so uncomfortable. It was painful to see.” Another member of the crew says Sheen’s unprofessional attitude left many crew members feeling “a lot of anger toward” him. “We all got burned for a bunch of money but it’s not the end of the world. We don’t wish terrible things for him,” the source told the Daily Beast. “I just don’t ever want to see him again. I definitely don’t want to work with him.”

Charlie Sheen says “good riddance” to Roseanne after the show was canceled following Roseanne Barr’s racist tweet, and calls for a reboot of Two and a Half Men.
I bet he’s so delusional that he thinks the entire crew still loves him.
Thousands and Thousands of people would give almost anything, to have the job he had, and the privileges(I mean the good ones that go along with the job)!! Also he gives up all that money he “earned” while on the job! Whereas Tons of people had to give up their house/home because of loosing their Jobs. Mr. Sheen cannot demand anyone’s Respect/Friendship, he has to earn it. Just like Any1 knows.
its pretty convenient this is just being brought up NOW when charlies life seems to be falling apart. i cant even bring myself to believe any of this, based solely on the timing of these people coming forward. if they had this many problems with charlie, im sure they would have either fired him, or brought this to the news long before he was ACCUSED of “killing animals” and long before he made fun of the people that ran the show and long before everyone started trashing him. once someone starts, EVERYONE wants to be in the spotlight and wants to share their nasty opinion just to get attention. this is disgusting.
If the crew had gone to the press while this was happening, they would have been fired, no questions asked. You do not work on a TV or movie set and talk publicly about the stars, who have the power to get you fired, to the media. You keep your mouth shut. That’s how the world works, mandee. I think they’re finally speaking up to show support for Chuck Lorre, to say that the problem isn’t him (as Charlie says), but was Charlie all along. His actions have cost a lot of people their jobs, and that is what is disgusting. If they want to talk now about it after keeping it bottled up for months, who can fault them for that? They’ve had to listen to him applaud himself, blame everyone else for what happened and they’ve just had it with him. I would feel the same resentment if someone had cost me my job.
Simply, it is human nature to blame others and point out other people’s flaws than to admit your own shortcomings and admit accountability, not just in Charlie’s situation. I certainly could never have imagined him or anyone else for that matter saying, “Yes this all happened because I am just a douche bag, plain and simple, it was my fault, I was in the wrong.” It was a relationship that fell apart like so many do, business and personal, doesn’t matter which, they grow and develop in the same way and/or they crash and burn the same way. I’ve always loved Two and a Half men, and it was never kept a secret that the episodes were based largely on personal experience- whose?, who cares, it doesn’t matter; it made a hit show, it’s lived it’s course, they’ll all move on from here.
I have always thought that John Cryer and Angus T. Jones make the show. I still watch the reruns and they could put anyone in Charlie’s place. He would not be missed.
Anyone who is buying the tickets to watch his “world tour” are just lining Charlie’s pockets. He can’t do it. He has no writers. Just goes to prove my former point.
I can only guess the crew didn’t “GO” to the press with this……the press went to them…as they they have gone to everyone else. That is why the trickle down effect of “one thing after another”
It really puzzles me how many people think the world is against Charlie Sheen…..The cops who have arrested him have made it all up, the hotel owners destroyed their own property, the women have beaten themselves up, the dogs committed suicide and his co-workers screwed themselves out of the cash cow because they felt they didn’t deserve it……wake up people….the guy is a loser, a cancer to everything and everyone he associates with and always has been despite what you would like to believe…he’s NOT Charlie Harper. hopefully on his way to rock bottom he doesn’t drag anyone with him and on his way back up he leads a respectful quiet life out of the spotlight

stardiva on April 25, 2011 11:31 PM im sorry to hear about your job, but it isnt the same thing as charlie and his situation or the people that “lost their job because of charlie”. i heard they plan on putting someone in to take charlies place (i could be wrong as i do not watch much tv anymore or anything) so, if thats true and they are considering it, or they do actually follow through with it, then no one lost their job EXCEPT charlie. technically he has the right to get fired if he chooses to, he has the right to quit any time he wants, people cant expect someone to stay in their job until they die, things change and people change (be it for better or for worse) and life circumstances change, no one should have expected him to stay on 2 and a half men for his entire life.

yep, i sure did just admit to lying about where i live and where i work, do you really think anyone is stupid enough to come on here and post real details about their lives? its common sense, people dont do that in this day and age. also, last time i checked when an old(er) woman such as nancy feels the need to insult me and other people, i have every right to insult her back, she is like twice my age and i dont hear you saying anything to her about being “immature” or a “little girl”. seems to me you could just be nancy posting under a different name, it would make sense at this point in the game.
