Jennifer Hudson says she can’t keep her seven-month-old son David Otunga Jr. away from her pet dogs. The baby loves the pooches so much, he has started to bark and growl instead of trying to speak. Jennifer is convinced her son has even started to think he is a dog. “He’s always trying to play with the dogs and he thinks he’s one of them,” the 28-year-old star laughed. “He even growls like the dogs and I’m like, ‘Are you growling?’ “We were just on the plane the other day and he was growling at the broccoli that he was playing with. He was like, ‘Arrrrr!’ He growls at the other babies and he thinks that’s how you’re supposed to communicate.” David Jr. is Jennifer’s son with fiancé David Otunga. The couple are planning to wed this year, and Jennifer is currently trying to slim down so she will fit into her “fierce” wedding dress. “You’ll have to wait and see it. It’s fierce… It has its own show,” she told OK! magazine. “I’m getting fit for the wedding. I just walk, run, stay consistent and just stay in focus. It’s all about health this year.”

Jennifer Hudson, 34, was left devastated in 2008 when her mom Darnell Donaldson, brother Jason and seven-year-old nephew Julian King were murdered by her sister’s estranged husband William B…
Isn’t this normal, I mean, don’t they grow up to call each other dawg anyway and bark at each other?
“They”? Grab a book and go edumacate yourself.
youre sick. maybe youre the one that should be barking?
it sounds to me like they dont talk to this baby at all. if he thinks that barking is a way of communicating then they arent teaching him anything. ALSO…im just wondering, does anyone else feel the need to let a 7 month old BABY “play” with broccoli?
Peter, grow the f–k up.
mandee, I imagine they probably do talk to him, it’s probably just one of those things little ones pick up, he’ll grow out of it. As far as playing with their food, when my kids were babies, I let them handle, or “play”, with their food, I felt it was good for them, they learned what happens when they squish a pea between their fingers, etc. Of course they grew out of it, and spaghetti night was a real messy treat!
but does one FEED a 7 month old broccoli? i always assumed it was not a good food to try to allow a small child to eat.
Well, cooked and mashed is very good for them, I wouldn’t give raw broccoli to a child that age though.
Forgive me if I’m wrong here, but I’m thinking Peter was just kidding!! OMG people, have a sence of humor!!
I’m sure he was kidding too, Monique, but it was still a very dirty comment.
monique, im sure if peter “was just kidding” about child molestation or whatnot you wouldnt be so forgiving. i dont understand people that are tolerant of jokes that are racist.
I don’t see how Peter’s comment is racist, unless he meant it only about black people. When I first read it, I didn’t get that impression but that could just be me. Here on campus lots of asian and white guys say “dawg.” It might have started out as a cultural thing, but it’s grown.
As for the article, I laughed when I read that the baby growled. At least he’s aware of his surroundings! I don’t think it’s because they don’t talk to him.. if he spends a good amount of time playing with the dogs, it’s natural he would pick that up. I can’t see her ignoring the baby that she’s been desperate to have for a long time. An animal lover in the making lol
just because you dont see it as racist, doesnt mean it isnt racist.
It also doesn’t mean it is. I guess only Peter knows for sure since he’s the one who wrote it.
I took it to be totally racist.
me too, a disgusting comment from a disgusting person.
