Star Wars: The Force Awakens pummeled the competition at the box office and now it’s poised to do the same at the MTV Movie Awards.

The record-breaking smash hit scored 11 nominations, which were announced this morning through MTV’s new Snapchat Discover channel.

The force was with the sci-fi epic as it led the charge with representation in top categories, including Best Movie of the Year, Female Performance (Daisy Ridley) and Ensemble Cast.

Its closest rival is another box office favorite. Deadpool, which earned eight nods, was recognized in the Movie of the Year, Male Performance (Ryan Reynolds) and Female Performance (Morena Baccarin) categories.

Avengers: Age of Ultron rounded out the top three films with most nominations. It’s up in six categories, including Movie of the Year and Best Hero (Chris Evans).

The other films vying for the Best Movie of the Year prize are Creed, Jurassic World and Straight Outta Compton.

Fresh off their Oscar wins, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brie Larson will also compete. Leonardo will take on the men of the Male Performance group for his work in The Revenant while Brie will challenge her fellow Breakthrough Performance nominees for her role in Room.

The MTV Movie Awards introduced two new categories this year. The True Story category contains films like Joy and Steve Jobs, while the Documentary group features Amy and He Named Me Malala.

Fans can vote for their picks on until Sunday, March 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Nominee Kevin Hart will co-host the awards with two-time nominee Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The show will air Sunday, April 10 at 8 p.m.
